What are Stem Cells?

There are two different kind of stem cells which are  Embryonic Stem Cells and Somatic Stem Cells. http://stemcells.nih.gov/StaticResources/info/popups/glossary.html#embryonicsc  http://stemcells.nih.gov/StaticResources/info/popups/glossary.html#somaticsc.                                                                          These cells all have a unique way of regeneration which gives them the ability to regenerate faster. Scientists belive with further research things like type 1 diabetes and heart disease. The unique things about stem cells are that they have no specialty such as a blood, muscle, or nerve cell. They also have an amazing ability to regenerate unlike any othe cell. The greatest ability is the ability to create specialized cells by a process called differentiation.
